Ain Samiya is located on the eastern plains of the village of Kafr Malik, along four kilometers of the remains of a Roman city known as (Aram). Researchers in the history of civilizations described it as a city with many advantages and monuments dating back to the ancient Bronze and Canaanite eras, known as the Roman and Islamic ones.
The origin of the naming of places always goes back to some narrations that may be right or wrong, and here the reason for naming this eye is:
It was named by this name in relation to the daughter of Suleiman bin Abd al-Malik, the Umayyad Caliph, as she lived in the place and took a place for rest and healing, knowing that she was suffering from a disease, and one of the doctors described the water of Samiya’s spring to cure her illness.
Ein Samiya is a huge spring that is considered the purest and strongest in the Jericho Governorate, as it supplies the city of Ramallah and Al-Bireh with water, as it is a rich area with water springs.
The path is characterized by wide areas on the slopes of the mountains and high rocks and slopes during the course of it, so the path is classified as difficult to medium difficulty.
